I am a compassionate and experienced therapist dedicated to supporting you in achieving greater mental wellness. I specialize in helping children, teens and adults with emetophobia (fear of vomiting), anxiety disorders, and low self-esteem.

Using practical, evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), alongside person-centered counselling approaches, I work with you to help you manage anxiety, build confidence, and cope with challenges more effectively. Together, we will create a safe and confidential space where you can achieve your goals at your own pace.

Welcome
Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to face things alone. Over the years, I’ve helped many people find new ways to cope, understand themselves better, and feel more at ease in their lives. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and tailored to you — we’ll work together to create a plan that fits your unique situation and goals.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, or a specific fear such as emetophobia (fear of vomiting), I’m here to help you move forward with greater confidence and peace of mind.
EXPERIENCE
As a senior therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, both in the NHS and in private practice. I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a well-established, evidence-based approach that helps people understand and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. I also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps people develop a more flexible and compassionate relationship with their thoughts and feelings — so they can live more fully and in line with what truly matters to them.

I have specialist training and experience in helping people overcome emetophobia (the fear of vomiting), a problem that can be incredibly distressing and is often misunderstood. Alongside this specialist work, I regularly support clients struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, and related challenges. My background includes roles in perinatal mental health, NHS long-term conditions services, focused anxiety treatment, and therapy for young adults aged 16–25.
Across all of this work, my focus remains the same: to offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s keeping you stuck and build the confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.
